PRIVACY POLICY
NitschWorks LLC ("NitschWorks," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website nitschworks.com and provides social media content production and management services for our clients. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep the amount of personal information we collect to a minimum.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run our business:
- Contact information you give us. If you email us or reach out about our services, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Basic website usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.
- Client account access. When you engage us to manage your social media, you may authorize us to access and post to your business accounts (for example, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook Pages) through those platforms' official tools. We access these only to perform the services you have asked us to provide.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services;
- Create, schedule, and publish content on the social media accounts you have authorized us to manage;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website; and
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising unrelated to the services we provide to you.
Third-Party Platforms
To deliver our services we work with third-party platforms, including social media networks such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook (Meta). When we access or publish to your accounts on these platforms, we do so through their official APIs and tools, subject to each platform's own terms and privacy policies. Our use of information received from these platforms complies with their developer and platform policies. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any platform whose account you authorize us to manage.
Instagram & Facebook (Meta) Data
For clients who authorize us to manage their Facebook Pages and professional Instagram accounts, our management software accesses the following through Meta's official APIs:
- Messages and comments sent to the managed business account — the message or comment text, the sender's public username and basic public profile information, and the time it was received;
- Content and engagement data for posts we publish on the managed account's behalf.
We use this data for exactly one purpose: so that a human account manager can read messages and comments sent to the managed business account and respond to them. Replies are individually reviewed and approved by a person, and are sent within the messaging windows Meta's platform policies allow. We do not use Meta platform data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to managing the authorized account, and we do not sell it.
Message and comment data is retained only as long as needed to provide the service and keep reasonable business records, and is deleted on request. To request deletion of data we hold that relates to you, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers who help us operate (such as our website host and email provider), who may access it only to perform work for us;
- With the social media platforms necessary to deliver the services you have requested; and
- When required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. Step-by-step deletion instructions are on our Data Deletion Instructions page.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
